Picking Up Your Puppy

The day that you get your puppy is a big day, and here at Fetching Puppies Co. We want that day to be as smooth as possible. Your puppy on the other hand experiences many new things on that day, and we want them to have a great day as well!

Exchange- In Person or Transportation?- Handing your puppy off is a big day, for us, for you, and especially for your puppy! We strongly suggest you, the purchaser be present for this event. While there are reputable dog nanny/shipping services, we think there is something special about you being there physically. Once you have selected a puppy we can give you options either to pick up close to our home (free) or transportation (costs/options dependent upon distance). We will plan on spending at least 10 minutes with you, between the paperwork and supplies exchange, puppy introduction as well as a chance to take some pictures and answer any questions you might have. We want this to be a supportive and encouraging handoff, not a drive by pick up. We will select a neutral site to meet you at, as we have found that this solves potential problems that can occur with visits directly to our home as well as being more simple to coordinate for both parties.

What Comes With Your Puppy? – We remember the rush to gather all the essentials when preparing for your first puppy or even just a new puppy! New toys and treats, food and more, adds up fast and can make the process exhausting. We will bring: Puppy Food, Puppy Collar, Documentation/Contract, and of course the puppy!
